Impending Day Of The Turkey

With Thanksgiving right around the corner I am really excited about making dinner. I love cooking, especially trying things I haven't tried before. I'm not going to get to do much of that though, because Thanksgiving in my family is pretty much set in it's ways.
I do know for sure that we're making:

• turkey
• ham
• sweet potatoes
• pumpkin pie

And, that's about all I can put down in ink right now. I hope the pumpkin pie turns out really delicious. I'm considering 86ing the ground cloves in the recipe though. Cloves remind me of a horrible ham experience I had once...
